JAKARTA, March 20 (Bernama) — The vibrancy of the tourism industry in the Iskandar Malaysia economic region in South Johor, triggered by among others, the presence of tourist resorts and international theme parks, has attracted the interest of a number of Indonesian entrepreneurs wanting to build hotels within it.
Apart from the tourism sector, they are also keen to invest in the health, education, creative industry, oil and gas as well as the food and agriculture product sectors.
This development is the result of promotions by the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) in two Indonesian cities, Jakarta and Surabaya, this year.
